Downloadable PowerBuilder Objects

Some useful objects / components for Powerbuilder. You may use any of the items within this section in your own Powerbuilder applications.

The objects are in the .sru format, which can be imported into Powerbuilder from the library painter. In PB7 this is done through the menu item "Entry / Import...".

• All the Powerbuilder objects - 65K Zip File

  Version: 1.0.0 (28th April, 2003)
  All the objects below in a PBL (PB7), so you don't have to import the objects individually.

• Generic Parameters - 4K Zip File

  Object to generically handle multiple parameters stored in a single text string. Useful for storing information in tags, or where only a single field is available for storage. Can also be useful for sending generic messages to objects via events.

• Datatype Conversion - 21K Zip File

  Version: 1.0.2 (28th April, 2003)
  A set of objects to handle conversion between different datatypes. Useful for the controlled conversion of datatypes, produces a single point of data conversion which allows control of conversion precision, etc., on an enterprise or application level if required.
  This is now a complete solution, can be used with virtually no coding required.

• Unix Timestamp to Date and Time - 2K Zip File

  Version: 1.0.0 (15th April, 2003)
  An object to convert from standard date and time to a unix timestamp, and vice versa.
